A familiar topic for discussion if you have ever worked in an office environment. It’s never quite right for the whole office.
This has been confirmed in research taken by Work There who suggested that almost nine out of ten office staff loose productivity if the temperature is not right with only 16% claiming to be happy with their workplace climate.
In the research, it was reported that Employees were forced to use various solutions to warm up or cool down 47% said they wore extra layers and 17% admitted to bringing a personal heater or fan.
In my own experience, it was a battle for some colleagues more than others I have brought in a fan and have worn additional layers. I have worked in places where the person who would complain the most when that person was absent it was celebrated by changing the temperature.
